IT Department

IT Department was established in 2015 and is accountable to the Inspector

The main functions of the Department are:

  • Technical monitoring, administration and management of the internal electronic system of control over covert investigational activities - telephone bugging and recording;
  • Technical monitoring, administration and management of two stage electronic system from the side of the Office of the Inspector;
  • Technical monitoring, administration and management of the local informational systems;
  • Informational and technical assistance of the staff;
  • Creating of the new programs for the automatization of the work of the different units of the Office and its technical support;
  • To implement standards of IT management, state and international standards of the informational security;
  • To support inspections department during inspections in the IT direction;
  • To cooperate with the public and private organizations while establishing informational systems;
  • Fulfillment of other obligations prescribed by the Georgian legislation, regulation of the Office and other normative acts of the Inspector.

The staff of the IT department consists of:

  • The Head of the IT department;
  • Database Administrator;
  • Developer;
  • IT Security Officer;
  • IT Administrator;
  • Monitoring Specialist
